I spent the morning looking at flights. Am I the only one that checks religiously? Like clockwork, around the end of August each year (it’s hitting me early this round) the travel bug begins to itch. Where to
run walk come Winter? I hate running. Humanitarian work in Haiti. Textile production in North Africa. Art in Buenos Aires. These were all at the top of my dreamers list (don’t you dare pop my bubbble)buuuut here comes France. Ahhh, the French. Aloofly inspirational. Look at me dammit, these videos already have me smoking gracefully as I strategically set a red beret atop my noggin’. Instant sophisticate. Speaking of bug… Serge. A little charming bugger eh? Or just a bugger? I will say He and Jane created one hell of a daughter.
I’ll watch these again, most certainly not make a decision, and wait 5 days prior to any departure to actually buy a physical ticket. That’s how we do round’ here. Doing my best to sing along.
It’s pretty ugly… and he’s right, it seems to be lasting. (Rita, Bob Marley’s loyal woman, singing Serge’s dirty little undertones. I enjoy.) “The more you turn down things, the more difficult it becomes to feel that the next one will be right.” -Charlotte Gainsbourg“I’d rather live on my own than live with a face that looks at me with the wrong eyes.” -Jane BirkinNew Yorkers… Alex and I will be making a visit to your beautiful city come September. Teaming up with Nina again to shoot an editorial and really need a solid list of vintage and thrift shops. Lend us your favorites? Much appreciated.
