Ladies and Gents, Winter travel is here. “Get me out of this country” woes are tip tapping on my every thought. Getting passports and visas in order…. yellow fever vaccinations are the icing on top. Africa here I come! Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar. The first 2-3 weeks will be spent with a woman who has been doing fair trade with global artisans for 15 years. I’ll accompany her for textile buys and antique jewelry in Ghana. Then I’m off on my own two feet. If anyone has any tips, let a gal know eh?
Thought it would be an appropriate time to post these shots…
This old vintage suitcase was scooped from an antique shop going out of business- your loss is my gain… beautiful- 70% off. Dang. Silk scarves are all hand dyed by yours truly (a big thanks to mom’s sink). Another collaboration of Rus Anson and myself. Joshua Conover is the ever talented Makeup Artist. I don’t think I’ll ever do another shoot without him on the team.
Xx Amy
Oh my goodness! I just got back from a really quick trip to North Africa and I am already trying to figure out how to return for a longer time. Have an amazing trip- take your camera, but always ask before you snap a pic- I learned that one the angry/hard way.
